Rectory: a glimpse inside the nightmare 3 by CEZacherl Rectory: a glimpse inside the nightmare 3 by CEZacherl
Sleeping, unawares, on a bed of monsters.

This is just a fragment of a much larger illustration. For the past several months I've been working solely on a large, full-scale movie poster for 'the Rectory' feature film. I'm in the home-stretch of the poster now, so I'll be posting these smaller fragments (each, about the size of one of my standard illustrations or greater) as we move forward the next week or two until this thing is completed.

This particular fragment is just one part of the frame-work I laid out for the piece. The frame itself is intended to kind of dissolve out of the viewer's focus and not be the primary draw to the eye. But I poured the time into it so that, if the viewer wanted to, they could find literally hundreds of hidden horror gems in the surreal nightmare world that serves as a glimpse within the mind of a certain character in the story.

This is looking really great sir!  I really can't wait to see the rest of this when you're finished with it.

Thankye Ma'am :)

I'm hoping it turns out as well as it has been. I need to create a pocket-dimension where I can just squirrel myself away and hammer another twenty hours into this thing to completion.

I think we all need a pocket dimension to squirrel ourselves away for a bit!  And I know it will turn out awesome once you're finished!  I have all the faith :-)

Thank you brother, greatly appreciated.

I'm looking forward to seeing this thing when it's done too *laughs* Everything that's happening on paper is turning out even better than was in my head, so I can't wait.
